Our arts awards project is off to a good start. In this clip the girls at St Catherine’s are doing something we call Free Writing This is when we give ourselves a certain amount of time (for example 5 minutes) and we write without thought or judgement about a subject or we could be answering a question. In this clip our Arts Awards group were creating characters, potentially to be used when they begin writing their plays. #theatreforyoungpeople #artsaward

Where The Lines Are Drawn has finished it’s third tour and we’ve been reminiscing with some professional photos so thought we would share them with you.

WE ARE RECRUITING!

The company is looking for an inspiring director to join the creative team for the 2020 production. Playwright Alex Cooke, Artistic Co-Director of Little Fish Theatre will be working together with producer Artistic Co-Director Suha Al Khayyat, in delivering this new theatre piece exploring how cognitive dissonance affects young people’s lives.

The director would need to be available for a series of meetings and development workshops with actors during Dec 2019. We are particularly interested in young directors with a personal relationship to London who:
*understand the responsibility of directing a new play and interpreting a playwright’s vision
*have a passion for young people’s theatre
*knows the logistics of performing in schools and studio spaces
*can choreograph non-naturalistic physical theatre sequences

Casting and development: Dec ‘19
Rehearsals: Monday 10/2/20 to Fri 28/2/20
Tour: Mon 2/3/20 to Fri 27/3/20

The director’s fee breaks down into:
Preparatory Fee £1093.00 to include 5 days development and casting
Rehearsals: £1149 for three weeks
Weekly tour visits: £110 per visit.
