Southwark Learning for life

...

This FREE Southwark project is designed to empower children aged 9-11 and assist them in developing crucial life skills, such as personal, social, and health education, to ensure a smooth and successful transition to secondary school.

Our 10-day summer program caters explicitly to Year 6 pupils, providing them with a fun and engaging platform to explore various topics related to acquiring new skills, managing risks, building friendships, and adapting to changes. We utilize the creative arts, including music, dance, drama, and art, to facilitate learning and encourage active participation.

By incorporating these innovative approaches, we aim to equip young individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise during their transition to mainstream secondary education.

Summer Scheme 24

This year’s free multi-arts summer programme took place at Rye Oak Primary School, Whorlton Road SE15 3PD between 29th July and 9th August 2024.
