Time and Place is a multi-narrative play that explores a broad spectrum of issues relevant to the Personal, Social and Health curriculum at Key Stage 2. Through music, imagery, poetry and storytelling, Time and Place challenges young people to look at the choices they make. The play is followed by an interactive workshop that engages the audience in a debate on issues including friendships, family relationships, personal safety, peer pressure, smoking, alcohol and making the transition to secondary school.
Time and Place aims to encourage communication and decision-making skills for all the participants within a safe and exciting structure.
The production looks at the impact of cigarettes & alcohol and the possession of cannabis (weed) by young people. The decision to include these drugs on this primary school tour has been taken in consultation with drug education specialists and will be followed up in the post-show workshop.
